Project: Walking Tour​

In June 2018, as a by-product of her capstone project at the University of Washington, Maisha led a walking in Seattle's Central District Neighborhood in partnership with The Urbanist. She created two composite walking tours from the memories and stories of eight central district residents, three of whom joined her on the tour to share personal accounts of their favorite places. The tour was intended to bring people together, help reveal and preserve the historic landscape of the central district neighborhood and serve as an educational and urban planning tool.
