Maisha's Role: Project Manager, Fundraiser
​
Duties: Through strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement, Maisha led an eight-member volunteer steering committee for the development of Jimi Hendrix Park. Her duties ranged from visioning, fundraising, event planning to media communications. As PM, she cultivated key partnerships, collaborations, and served as a liaison between the Friends of JHP committee, Jimi Hendrix Park Foundation, Seattle Parks and Recreation, and Murase Associates landscape architects.
