In fall 2017, I interned with the Seattle Office of Sustainability and Environment as a Resilient Strategy Intern. Working with the Seattle Chief Resilience Officer, 100 Resilient Cities, and AECOM staff, my position focused on the research and development of a Preliminary Resilient Strategy for the city of Seattle.

 

As a Resilience Intern I:

• Collected and synthesized data 

• Analyzed resilience perceptions and actions

• Helped create a Preliminary Resilience Assessment (PRA) report and presentation for the Mayor of Seattle

• Researched post PRA best practices, opportunities, and successes of other 100 RC cities
